IXV is a trip-hop/industrial band influenced by Portishead, Massive Attack, industrial, and cinematic soundtracks. Their music blends haunting violin, breakbeat drums, and powerful bass synths to create a moody, immersive soundscape. Debuting live in August 2021, they have since captivated audiences with their dark, evocative performances.
In March 2024, IXV released their second album, “Soundtracks for Crime Scenes”, a cinematic journey told through music. The album follows a murder mystery, introducing characters and culminating in a powerful finale dedicated to the victim. Live performances feature synchronized visuals, enhancing the storytelling experience.
